Comparison

knocknock vs Spotio

Spotio sells in five seat minimums on annual billing. knocknock sells one team price, month to month. Here is what that difference costs in dollars.

Prices checked August 2026 against Spotio’s published plan rates as listed on its own site and partner listings. Sources at the foot of this page.

The short answer. Spotio’s published Team plan is $39 per user per month, billed annually, with a five seat minimum and no self-serve trial — you start through a demo. Business is $69 and Pro $129 per user. knocknock is priced per team: $79 a month for up to three reps, $199 for up to ten, $399 for unlimited, month to month with a 14 day trial and no card.

At exactly five reps the two are about even on money, and Spotio wins nothing there anyway because its price is locked to annual billing and a demo. From six reps up, knocknock costs less, and the gap grows with every rep hired. A ten rep crew pays $390 a month on Spotio Team against $199 on knocknock.

What a crew actually pays

Spotio’s Team plan at $39 per user per month, billed annually, is the cheapest way into the product. That is the rate used below. Monthly billing on Spotio is not published for the entry tier.

Monthly cost by crew size. Spotio Team at $39 per user a month, billed annually.
Crew sizeSpotio TeamknocknockDifference a year
5 reps (their minimum)$195$199About even — Spotio saves $48, on annual billing only
8 reps$312$199knocknock saves $1,356
10 reps$390$199knocknock saves $2,292
25 reps$975$399knocknock saves $6,912

Those Spotio figures assume you can start at all. A crew of three cannot buy the Team plan at its published rate — the five seat minimum prices them out of the entry tier entirely, which is where knocknock’s $79 plan sits.

Why the five seat minimum matters

A minimum buy changes which crews a tool is for. Spotio is built for established teams of five or more that can commit to a year and a demo before seeing the product. That is a sensible business, and it is also the exact moment most door to door crews cannot buy anything: three reps, one truck, no contract budget.

knocknock’s plans are capped by rep count rather than billed by it. Start with three reps on the $79 plan and hire inside the plan without the bill moving.

Contract length and how you start

Spotio’s published entry pricing is billed annually and the product is sold through a demo; there is no self-serve trial. knocknock is month to month, self-serve, and the trial does not ask for a card. Yearly billing on knocknock is optional rather than the cheap tier.

Where Spotio is the better buy

Spotio has been in door to door longer than most of the category and it shows. Buy Spotio rather than knocknock if you need:

knocknock is a younger, deliberately smaller product. It does the daily loop of a door to door crew and stops there.

Questions

Is knocknock cheaper than Spotio?

From six reps up, yes. Five Spotio seats cost $195 a month on annual billing against knocknock’s $199 for up to ten. A ten rep crew pays $390 on Spotio Team against $199 on knocknock.

Can a crew of three buy Spotio?

Not at the published entry rate. Spotio’s plans carry a five seat minimum, so a three rep crew pays for five seats or looks elsewhere. knocknock’s entry plan is built for exactly that crew.

Does Spotio have a free trial?

No self-serve trial. Spotio is sold through a demo. knocknock has a 14 day trial with no card required.

No. Month to month is the normal way to pay and you can cancel whenever you like. Paying for a year is optional and gets you two months free.
